David began his career with Price Waterhouse where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

Since then he has spent most of his career in the media sector. He was at EMI for five years before joining Sony Music UK, where he managed both the strategic exit from the distribution and studio businesses and the merger of operations with Bertelsmann Music Group UK. Outside of music, David was Group Finance Director of Scoot.com plc. during the new media crisis of 2001 and latterly was the Deputy CFO of Hit Entertainment Ltd.

David joined BBH in March 2009 and was appointed to the Group Board in May 2009. He is responsible for all aspects of the worldwide agency’s finances.
